Personal Representative

Our experience with Heidi Webb was fantastic. She explained all that was needed to build our estate planning. The customer service that was provided was well above excellent. We requested our estate plan be available to us in a short period of time. This was well met and gave us a great sense of gratitude. We can now go on with doing what we do and not have to worry about our estate, knowing that all our documents are now in order for our family.

Ms. Webb is very knowledgeable, helpful and honest. She provides advice and council in a way you can understand. In addition she follows through on every commitment and keeps you apprised. When we needed an attorney in Florida she was the first person we contacted and after speaking with her we knew right away we didn’t need to contact anyone else. We highly recommend her!

initial meeting with an Estate Planning Attorney

What should I bring with me for my initial meeting with an Estate Planning Attorney?

The initial meeting with an Estate Planning attorney will most likely be informative for YOU and a precursor to your providing information to the attorney, however, there are a few things you should be prepared to talk about so that your attorney can answer questions and provide information tailored to your specific situation.

Specifically, you should consider/bring the following:

Goals

You should consider what your priorities and goals are, if you are married or have a partner —it’s good for the two of you to jointly consider what your goals are.

Assets

You need to be able to discuss your financial situation —my clients sometimes come with an asset listing and I find that very helpful to give us a launching point.

Prior Estate Planning

This should be number one but I saved it for last because folks remember best the last thing you tell them ☺ Make sure you bring copies of all your existing estate planning —even if you don’t think it’s relevant.
