Personal Representative

Our entire experience creating necessary estate documents through Heidi was only positive. She and Molly were extremely prompt with communication and her services were reasonably priced. She took the time to always thoroughly explain everything and answer my MANY questions always with a smile and the desire to make sure we were confident in how we worded things for our documents. She was happy to make changes to fit our needs and was even available to give advice regarding how to best handle my late father in law’s affairs. We really appreciate knowing that Heidi has our best interest in mind and that we have a relationship with an attorney whom we wholeheartedly trust. I’m not easy to win over in professional relationships, and I would fully recommend her to others.

Heidi Webb is a very professional and caring attorney. She is focused on attention to detail. She also is very articulate. Every situation that has come up in my case she has taken care of as swift as possible. My case has had some difficult turns which she has dealt with to her sensational ability. Heidi Webb has an outstanding personality and puts you at ease immediately. I highly recommend her. It is nice to know that out of so my attorneys their is one that is exceptional.

ASK HEIDI:  Do I need to select a Power of Attorney for financial matters and another for health care, or can the same person do both?

Short Answer:  While it’s two different documents/roles it can be the same person wearing both hats.

The document for handling financial matters is called a Durable Power of Attorney and the Health Care Surrogate Designation is for healthcare decisions when you are unable but there’s an expectation of survival.

I usually approach it from the perspective that they are very different roles and often different loved ones might be better suited for one rather than the other.  I tell my client’s that they shouldn’t feel it HAS to be the same person but it absolutely can be.
